EquineAddicts is committed to making your online purchase as safe and secure as possible.  We respect our customer's concerns about using credit cards online and we do provide alternative payment methods.  EquineAddicts provides an e-mail order form which can be printed and mailed to us with a check.  Use our checkout in the normal way, but at the end of checkout choose "Check or Money Order" for the payment method.  Just print the e-mail you will receive and send it to us with a check or money order.  Checks will be held for 7-10 days to clear the bank.  If you pay by PayPal, you might prefer to use their safe and secure e-check payment method.  Please be aware using e-check through PayPal is just like sending a real check, the funds will not clear for 4-7 days and your item will be held until funds are available.  You can also call us with your credit card details or your entire order (see Phone & Mail Orders).

When you make an online purchase at EquineAddicts, you are protected by the latest technology and security safeguards available on the Internet.  All purchase information is encrypted (changed into meaningless data that cannot be read by anyone without the encryption key) before it is transferred to our payment processors.  You will notice a small padlock or key displayed in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen when you are transferred to the secure server.  This is to indicate that you are connected to a Secure Server.  You can view details by double-clicking on the padlock or key, or by right-clicking anywhere on the screen and selecting properties.

If you choose to pay on our site with a credit card or through Paypal, your credit card information is sent directly to the bank or Paypal and EquineAddicts never sees your credit card number.  If you call us to place a credit card order, we use your credit card number to process your order and once the order is processed your credit card number is immediately cross-cut shredded.  We do not store credit card numbers in either paper or electronic form.
